Like its big brother the 'Junior' is a rugged “must have” product for your 4x4 expedition. A range of awning fitting kits are available separately. The Ostrich Wing Junior awning is a slightly smaller version of the very popular Ostrich Wing. The 'Junior' is ideal for small SUV’s (like Jimny) and Double Cab pick-ups.

The Big Country Ostrich Wing Junior awning is made from 320gsm rip-block canvas supported by a number of aluminium frame arms. The awning will provide 7 sqm of shade in less than 30 seconds. It only takes one person to open and collapse the awning.

The awning fold out aluminium frame arms are built from purpose made extrusions, which are constructed in a “truss” design and pivoted on nylon bushes to provide unmatched sturdiness.

Big Country Ostrich Wing is a legless awning, which means that it is not necessary to use support poles (during mild wind conditions). One support pole is included as standard, which can be used in more gusty weather conditions, and the awning frame can be tied down using the eyelets provided. A further two support poles can be purchased separately.

Big Country Side Wall Kits for the awning can be purchased separately. The panel kit consists of 1 x “door” panel, 1 x “window” panel and 2 x “plain” panels. Panels attach to the main awning with a vislon zip and can be fitted in any position. Also an LED light kit is available to fit to the frame.
