MAD REINFORCED MAIN SPRINGS
Reinforced main springs or heavy-duty springs are the best solution if the suspension system must carry a constant heavy load. Perfect for use on a vehicle that is regularly or continuously loaded and often driven off-road.
Thanks to these powerful, stronger coil springs, the vehicle maintains the ideal ride height and improves driveability and safety in loaded situations. When you drive with a heavy payload, you demand more from the suspension system. That's why MAD offers reinforced main springs for different payload situations, and resulting in maximum comfort, control and safety.
• Replaces the original standard main suspension coil springs
• Supplied as a complete set, including mounting materials
• MAD coil spring systems are TÜV certified
• MAD suspension systems comply with directive ECE R13 (operation ABS/ESP)
• MAD suspension kits are developed and extensively tested on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis
• High Quality Product – Made in the Netherlands (EU)
• Reliability - MAD springs come with lifetime warranty
Reinforced springs replace the vehicle's standard coil springs. MAD springs usually have a larger wire diameter and/or more windings than the original springs, resulting in a higher spring rate. This means the springs provide more force to level up the vehicle.
Reinforced main springs are the ideal solution when the vehicle:
- is occasionally or constantly heavily loaded
- is too low when loaded, has too little ground clearance
- sags, bottoms out or hits the end stops
- is unstable or sways when loaded
- does not steer directly
Discover all the benefits of MAD reinforced main springs:
+ More ground clearance, reducing risk of damage to the undercarriage
+ Prevents sagging (static)
+ Prevents hitting the end stops of the suspension system
+ Prevents bottoming out (tow bar/rear end on speed bumps)
+ Reduces crosswind sensitivity and body roll when cornering
+ Improves road holding, stability and leads to more direct steering behaviour
+ Optimum traction with front-wheel drive
+ Prevents trailer or caravan swaying
+ Contributes to safety
